Buy a car with a replaced engine?
Hi, I was looking at a used 2010 Nissan Versa today and was told by the dealer that the engine was recently replaced. The car has 35k on it, but only a few hundred with the new engine. I was looking at a private dealer lot, but the maintenance was done by a Nissan dealer under warranty. They gave me the paper work, which states: "cyl missfire. performed missfire diagnosis. found oil leaking from dipstick tube, oil level below dipstick reading. oil black and contaminated with metal shavings. remove oil pan and valve cover. no sludge and oil screen clean. found cams, brgs, pistons, and cyl walls scored. performed kpa and comp tests. both failed. isolated concern to piston failures. replaced with long block assembly. completed dtc confirmation and road tested to verify repairs" Now, does that mean the whole engine was replaced or just part? I'm not sure how big a factor this should be in my car buying decision - should it be?. Thank you!

RC cars buying my first car. HELP!?
Ok my brothers birthday is coming up and i want to get a remote controlled car for him. But i can not find a good website (hopefully united kingdom) to buy it from. if i can i'm trying to get two of the same car. So this is my question. 1) Could you recommend a website that YOU previously brought from? (again hopefully uk) 2) Can you try and find two cars on that website (same cars) that can be driven at the same time without controlling each other? I don't want a silly little electric car that only goes 5mph. I want a decent car that can go reasonably fast. a good electric car is fine just as long as its a good car and reliable. Petrol car maybe but it will be expensive and my brother and i haven't driven an RC car in a while. I know nothing about RC cars and i'm just getting into it so please give me serious help to picking my first car as i'm really confused. i don't know whats good and whats not lol. i'm not completely clueless as i have two planes but there quite different from cars. so please help as much info as possible would be great! thanks a lot.

should i buy the car, or should i save to pay back a debt?
a couple months ago, my car broke down. it was my first car and a project car. my grandpa used his truck as collateral to allow me to buy another vehicle without a down payment. this means that the dealer got to put his name on my grandpa's title as well as the power to take both my new car and my grandpa's truck if i miss a payment. as of now, i have about half the money saved to get the title back. i don't like my car anymore because i was so overwhelmed when i got it that the people around chose it for me. so now, i want to either fix my old car, buy another project car, or keep saving all my money to get the title back. it will take me at least 6 months to save all the money to get the title back at the rate im saving now. and mind you i save every little bit i can. i don't go out or anything. and this is just to get the dealer off the title. i still have to make payments on top of saving. i don't want to disappoint my grandpa because i said id get his title back ASAP. but it will still take a few more months just to get there. 6 months-ish from now i will go into the navy so i will be able to save the money easily to get the title back. but i don't want to be miserable until then. so should i spend my money how i want as long as i make the payment. or should i save and save until i can get the title back?
